Cidex®, Cidex Plus®, Cidex OPA®, Enzol® Solutions

Introduced over 30 years ago, Cidex® Activated Dialdehyde solution is a fast and effective way to disinfect and sterilize a wide variety of medical devices and instruments. Cidex 14 day use, a 2.4% alkaline glutaraldehyde solution, destroys 99.8% of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in 45 minutes at 25 degrees Celsius. Cidex Plus® (a high-level disinfectant, 20 minutes at 25 degrees Celsius) is a 3.4% glutaraldehyde solution. Cidex OPA® (ortho-phthalaldehyde) is compatible with a wide range of medical devices. Requiring no activation or mixing, Cidex OPA destroys Mycobacteruim tuberculosis in 12 minutes at 20 degrees Celsius. Enzol® Enzymatic Detergent is an effective way to remove tough, dried-on or hard to reach organic matter from instruments before disinfecting in Cidex. Effective at room temperature, Enzol will not clog scopes or leave a residue on instruments. Follow instructions for use for proper disposal of materials.
