Reusable Transvaginal Needle Guide
For use with Philips C9-4v ultrasound transducer
Designed for ease-of-use, this reusable transvaginal needle guide attaches to the transducer using a low profile fold-over clasp providing a stable fit to the transducer ensuring proper positioning throughout the duration of the procedure. The single-piece stainless steel system is recommended for tissue biopsy, fluid aspiration and treatment procedures. The guide is packaged non-sterile and may be sterilized or high-level disinfected according to the system manual’s cleaning instructions. This guide features a 0º angle and accepts instruments 16 gauge and smaller. A minimum 13.7cm (5.4”) needle is recommended to reach the target area. Needle guide ships with cleaning brushes. Transducer covers are sold separately.
NOTE: Reusable needle guides are recommended to follow FDA Guidelines for Reprocessing Ultrasound Transducer Assemblies including use of sterile barrier sheath, cleaning brush and proper cleaning and sterilization of the device between patients.
