For use with Aloka UST-979-3.5, UST-989(D)-3.5, UST-990-5, UST-9114-3.5, UST-9115-5, UST-9119, UST-9123, UST-9126, UST-9127 and UST-9130 transducers
CIVCO’s Needle Guidance System utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom reusable biopsy bracket and the disposable snap-on needle guide called the Ultra-Pro II. The single-angle bracket offers professionals a fixed angle needle path during puncture procedures. The Ultra-Pro II needle guide incorporates flexibility and advanced features to increase productivity during ultrasound-guided procedures. The needle guide directs instruments according to on-screen software guidelines. The Ultra-Pro II features a larger tab for improved quick-release function, allowing easy detachment of the needle from the transducer. Easy-to-read gauge sizes on the inserts make it simple to identify and alter gauge sizes in a darkened ultrasound suite. The guide features a larger funnel for instrument insertion and will accept a full range of sizes including: 8.5FR, 14-23GA (19 GA not available). U.S. Patent No. 5,941,889.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
- Large funnel style insertion point offers quick instrument placement in darkened suite.
- Repeatable, easy-to-use "quick release" feature for detachment of guide provides physician flexibility during puncture procedures.
- Accurate needle path with on-screen guidelines offers physician real-time visualization ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.
- Reduces technique variability providing a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time.
- Single-use design reduces risk of cross-contamination and increases productivity with ease and safety.
