Reusable Needle Guidance System

For use with the Philips Ergo C5-2 transducer

CIVCO's new reusable needle guidance system incorporates a multi-angle approach for user flexibility and greater access to the area of incidence. Simple adjustment of the angle thumbscrew allows selection of the desired angle of access and securely locks the guide into position, providing a direct visual path for instruments to follow with on-screen software guidelines. A large quick-release tab allows easy detachment of the device from the transducer providing physician flexibility during puncture procedures. A unique v-slot insertion point accepts a full range of gauge sizes including: 8.5FG-23 gauge. Needle guides are shipped non-sterile. Sterile transducer cover kits, cleaning brushes, replacement thumbscrews and angle thumbscrews are available separately.

NOTE: Reusable needle guides are recommended to follow FDA Guidelines for Reprocessing Ultrasound Transducer Assemblies including the use of a sterile barrier sheath, cleaning brush and proper cleaning and sterilization of the device between patients.
