CIVCO Appoints Axel Schiemann as VP of Asia Pacific Rim Sales for Radiation Oncology
KALONA, Iowa, USA – CIVCO Medical Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Axel Schiemann as Vice President of Asia Pacific Rim Sales for Radiation Oncology. Axel will be responsible for the management of CIVCO’s Asia Pacific engagements. Based out of CIVCO’s European headquarters in Reeuwijk, the Netherlands, Axel will work from Turkey, demonstrating CIVCO’s strong commitment to our emerging business in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Axel Schiemann brings more than 10 years of progressively responsible experience in the sale of innovative investment products for Radiation Oncology. “We are very excited to announce Axel’s appointment to CIVCO’s sales leadership,” Charles Klasson, CIVCO’s President and CEO said. “With his experience in pioneering the patient positioning market with Medical Intelligence GmbH as well as the introduction of highly innovative dosimetry solutions with IBA Dosimetry, Axel will be an excellent addition to our growing international sales efforts. He will add focus to the sales and distribution of critical new and innovative products designed to greatly improve precision in radiation therapy care. Chief among these new products are Protura™, RFSuite™ and CIVCO’s SBRT enabled product line.” Axel obtained his business degree in business administration at the University of Augsburg, Germany.
Axel’s education and extensive industry experience enable him to expand CIVCO’s footprint and drive new growth in the Asia Pacific region.
