Posifix Baseplates
Posifix head and neck baseplates are designed for use with the Posicast thermoplastic masking system. Posifix baseplates are available in two sizes, head-only baseplates and larger T-shaped head, neck and shoulders baseplates. Both shapes are available in a carbon fiber version and an acrylic version for all cases where the low attenuating properties of carbon fiber are not required. The head-only baseplates are compatible with head-only Posicast Thermoplastics and the head, neck and shoulders baseplates are compatible with head-only and head, neck and shoulders Posicast Thermoplastics. Baseplates are compatible with the two-pin indexing system and can also be fixed to aluminum rails for the PinnPoint indexing system.
Positilt™
The Positilt is a tilting baseplate made of low density foam covered with ultra-thin layers of carbon fiber. The Positlit enables the head to be positioned at six angles towards the couchtop plane. The Positilt can be easily attached to all Posifix baseplates including the IMRT Baseplates and the Posifix Mastercouch Module.
