Tungsten eye shields have been clinically tested and proven to provide adequate protection of the ocular structure for electrons up to 9MeV. Each eye shield is coated with a 2mm minimum thickness of dental acrylic on the beam entrance side of the shield to reduce electron back scatter to an acceptable level.

Eye shields are sold separately in three sizes: small (19.5mm), medium (23mm) and large (25mm).
