SONY's DVO-1000MD is the only medical grade DVD recorder featuring a built-in hard drive and NTSC / PAL recording capabilities. The recorder has two exclusive features DVORECOVERY(TM) drive and DVOFAST(TM) instant recording for maximum user-friendly operation. The DVORECOVERY drive enables users to re-capture lost video due to an accidental power outage, while DVOFAST technology enables you to remove a recorded disk in less than 90 seconds. No finalization is required and disks can be removed in less than 2 minutes. The DVO-1000MD employs industry standard MPEG-2 video compression to capture imges with exceptional clarity and utilizes an 80 gigabyte hard drive to store up to 30 hours of video. The new DPW-120MD DVD +RW recording media offers scratch, dust and stain resistant coatings to provide extra protection when compared to standard DVD +RW media. Each disk is pre-formatted and verified to ensure "out-of-the-box" reliability. Disk labels are included in package. Remote control is not included.
