This one-hour continuing education seminar offers an in-depth review of today’s patient dose verification techniques.

The workshop covers the purpose, intent, importance and methods of patient dose verification, including a comparison of single-use, MOSFET and diode monitoring technologies.

After this seminar participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the applications and techniques used in patient dose verification
  • Identify the workings, strengths and limitations of current patient dosimetry systems
  • Participate in a hands-on demonstration of a patient dose verification system
  • Recognize the benefits of utilizing an accurate patient dose monitoring system
