This one-hour continuing education seminar offers a comprehensive overview of image guided radiation therapy system for target localization.

This workshop covers the purpose, intent, importance and methods of image guided localization techniques for highly conformal 3D targeting and IMRT.

After this seminar participants will be able to:

• Recognize the applications and techniques used in image guided radiation therapy localization
• Recognize the workings, strengths, and weaknesses of current image guided localization techniques
• Participate in hands-on demonstrations of an image guided radiation therapy system for target localization
