Reusable Transrectal Endocavity Needle Guide
For use with Samsung Medison EA2-11AR/EA2-11AV ultrasound transducers. This stainless steel transrectal endocavity needle guide attaches securely to the transducer for biopsy procedures using a latch style closure. The contoured design provides a secure and stable fit to the transducer locating features. The guide features zero needle resistance offering smooth movement and navigation during puncture procedures. Guide accepts 16-18 gauge instruments. Needle guide ships with cleaning brushes. Transducer covers are sold separately. Needle guide cannula is 10.6cm (4.2in). Prior to use, verify procedure device is of adequate length. Accurate needle path with on-screen guidelines offers physicians real-time visualization ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure. Reduces technique variability providing a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time. Needle guide consists of single-piece system, allowing ease of use and efficient removal from probe while providing easy cleanup. NOTE: Reusable needle guides are recommended to follow FDA Guidelines for Reprocessing Ultrasound Transducer Assemblies including use of sterile barrier sheath, cleaning brush and proper cleaning and sterilization of the device between patients.
