Robin Therme has been with CIVCO for over 25 years, fulfilling a variety of leadership roles throughout the company, including sales and marketing, project management, business development, and product management and development. Ms. Therme has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Iowa Wesleyan College. She has been active in the communities she has lived, serving on the Winfield-Mt. Union School District Board for over ten years, the majority as president, as well as the local activities booster club and other community committees. Since moving to the Iowa City area, she has served on the Workplace Learning Connection committee, providing opportunities for local businesses to become involved in career and educational development activities for high school students. She also serves on the board for the Iowa City Area Development Group and is a member of the Iowa City Area Chamber's Legislative Committee.
Lisa Johnson began her career at CIVCO in 2004 and serves as vice president of finance. Her experience comes from working with numerous businesses through a financial audit at Deloitte & Touche. She has also held positions in internal audit and financial analysts roles with insurance and manufacturing industries. Ms. Johnson holds a Master of Arts in accounting from the University of Iowa and is a member of AICPA and IMA.
Mike Marshall is the vice president of corporate services, leading several departments supporting the Infection Control/Guidance and High-Level Disinfection/Urology Equipment business units including the quality, regulatory, service, clinical marketing, and marketing communications teams. Mike joined CIVCO in 2006 as Vice President, Development Engineering. He started his career as a software and hardware engineer on defense communications systems at Rockwell Collins, and he held engineering manager and director positions at Celestica and Motorola before joining CIVCO. Mike has a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
Kevin Cleary joined CIVCO in 2016 as vice president of global commercialization, leading our global sales strategy and managing our U.S. direct and international sales channels. Mr. Cleary is responsible for global sales, customer service, and managing relationships with all strategic domestic and international distributors. Before joining CIVCO, Mr. Cleary served separately as Regional Business Director and Corporate Sales Director for Johnson & Johnson. Throughout his 25 years with Johnson & Johnson, Kevin held leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility in Sales, Sales Operations, Professional Education, Marketing, and International Market Development. Kevin also previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Sales at Devicor Medical Products, Inc. Mr. Cleary holds a Bachelor of Science from Rowan University in New Jersey
Brad Dunlap serves as vice president of business development, leading CIVCO's upstream product innovation and OEM development teams. Brad's prior roles at CIVCO include Vice President, Marketing & Product Line; Director, Business Development-Europe; Strategic Accounts Manager; and Product Manager. Brad has also held marketing leadership roles at Baxter Healthcare in its European and Global Renal divisions. Before returning to CIVCO, he was most recently the Vice President and Managing Director of the Health division at Dunn&Co, a full-service creative marketing agency. Brad has a Bachelor of Arts from Central College in Pella, Iowa. He also serves on the board of Children's Place International, nonprofit supporting families, and children in poverty.
Alexas Swartz has been with CIVCO since 2011, beginning in marketing and product management, and most recently serving as Director of Marketing overseeing marketing communications, product management, and clinical marketing. Alexas now leads the Infection Control & Guidance business unit as Director. Before joining CIVCO, Alexas spent time in various marketing roles across university and tutoring organizations. Alexas holds a Master of Science in management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and management from the University of Iowa.
Ryan Swartz leads CIVCO's high-level disinfection and men's health business unit as its Director. Ryan began at CIVCO in 2011 as a design engineer, progressing in the organization as lead engineer, engineering manager, and program manager before advancing into his current leadership role. Before joining CIVCO, Ryan worked as a mechanical engineer for Alcon Laboratories. Ryan earned both his Bachelor of Science in engineering and Master of Business Administration at the University of Iowa
Michael McVey joined CIVCO in July 2001 as director of cleanroom and warehouse production. He currently serves as vice president and site director of CIVCO's multi-modality imaging manufacturing facility in Kalona, Iowa. Mr. McVey has over 25 years of experience in engineering, packaging, and logistics. Before joining CIVCO, Mr. McVey served as director of logistics and engineering for Sony Disc Manufacturing. He is a senior member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and is active in many community-based organizations. Mr. McVey obtained his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from North Dakota State University
